Simon Webb graduated with a BA Hons in Photography from Nottingham Trent University in 1997 and has since become a successful and coveted photographer in his chosen field of high concept pop culture photography. Simon moved to London to work as a studio assistant at Chalk Farm Photographic Studio's near the famous Round House music venue. Here Simon learnt quickly about the photographic industry, his infectious personality and passion for rock'n'roll lent itself especially to the world of celebrity and music photography. Working closely with established photographer's he gathered invaluable skills in lighting and camera techniques. It wasn’t long before Simon had enough experience and knowledge to start shooting for himself. Working for a variety of men's magazines including GQ, FHM, Maxim and Front. Simon now works with major record labels and advertising agencies and most magazine houses in London. His roster of bands and celebrities keeps growing with the likes of Taylor Swift, One Direction, and Pele. In the last few years he has crafted a personal and dynamic stylised identity to his work that is in the fast and contemporary music world. With his own fully carved niche in the industry Simon looks toward new challenges and stimulating projects, never getting too comfortable or resting on laurels in the ongoing quest to harness photography to capture and create.
