ANNA-LOUISE FELSTEAD

Born in London, Anna-Louise Felstead graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2003 having received first class honors from Central Saint Martins.  She is regarded as a reportage artist, for her work is created mainly on location.  Typically working with ink on paper, she also works with oil on canvas. From 2009-2011 Anna-Louise had an art gallery in Port Isaac (North Cornwall), where she documented village life, local architecture and scenes from the bay. She moved to New York City in 2013 and began working on a larger scale producing abstract cityscapes. It was during this time that she studied screen-printing at The Art Student's League of New York, later exhibiting her work.

Anna-Louise has always been interested in depicting a variety of subjects in a quirky style.  In 2005 she was commissioned by the Ministry of Defense to paint their aircraft carriers, harrier jump jets and helicopters.  These images were used in sponsored exhibitions and as part of the Royal Navy's recruitment campaign.

Anna-Louise currently works and lives in London and Wiltshire.
